Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 October 2026. This page explains what MiahsWorks Virtual Tablet Top Game Engine, run by Jeremiah Davis, collects when you use it, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, account name and password. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody, including us, can read them.
- What you make and do in the game: maps, tokens, characters, story boards, assets, images you upload, dice rolls and a log of game actions.
- Security records: when someone types a wrong password, we keep the account name and internet address for up to one day to stop password guessing.
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
Why we use it
- To run your account and your games, and to show your games to the players you play with.
- To send emails you need: account verification and password resets. We don't send marketing emails.
- To keep the site safe and fix problems.
We don't sell your information or show you targeted ads.
Cookies
We use one cookie that keeps you logged in. It lasts up to 30 days, or until you log out. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Other services this site uses
- Our web host stores the site, the database and the email account.
- Live game updates go through a real-time game server, so other players see your moves straight away.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the live-game code library is loaded from a public code network (cdn.socket.io). These services see your internet address when your browser loads from them.
Your choices
- See or download your data: go to My Account and choose Download My Data.
- Delete your account: go to My Account and choose Delete My Account. Your login, the maps you made, your characters, story boards, assets and game log are removed straight away. Copies in server backups disappear as the backups are replaced.
- Questions or corrections: reach us through the contact form on our home page.
Children
You must be at least 13 to create an account.
